Hallelujah! Christ is Risen!

What a journey we have been on since we entered Lent – remembering the incredible sacrifice and love that Jesus demonstrated for us through His death and resurrection. He has triumphed over death, sin, and darkness, bringing us into the embrace of His eternal love and grace.

We now celebrate his victory over sin and death, the precious gift we have received through the resurrection of Jesus Christ – the gift of His perfect and unending love and we have every reason to shout “Hallelujah!”

But as we reflect on the resurrection of Jesus, we must also remember that it is not just a historical event, but a life-changing reality that has the power to transform us from the inside out. The resurrection of Jesus offers us a new way of life, a life lived in his love and power. As the Apostle Paul writes in Romans 6:4, “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

In this season of resurrection, we are called to live in the transformative power of His love. It is a love that knows no bounds, a love that has conquered even the grave and has opened the way for us to experience the fullness of God’s love.

As we live in the resurrection love of Jesus Christ, let us walk in the light of Christ – His resurrection illuminates our path, guiding us through the uncertainties and challenges of life. May His light dispel any darkness within us and around us – that we may live as children of the light, remembering that we are deeply loved by God.

In the midst of our struggles and doubts, we may sometimes forget this truth. But the cross and the empty tomb remind us that we are eternally loved by our Heavenly Father. His love for us is unconditional, sacrificial, and unfailing. We must never let anything, or anyone convince us otherwise.

This love that raised Jesus from the dead is the same love that sustains us each day. May this love permeate every aspect of our lives and relationships.

Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). As we reflect the love of Christ to those around us, we become living testimonies of His resurrection power. Let us love one another with compassion, humility, and forgiveness, just as Jesus has loved us.

Finally, we must remember to love ourselves. This may seem counterintuitive, but it is crucial in our journey of living in the resurrection love of Jesus. We often struggle with feelings of inadequacy, guilt, and shame, which can hinder us from fully experiencing God’s love. But when we allow ourselves to be fully embraced by the love of Christ, we can find healing and restoration for our souls. We are made new in Him, and that is something to be celebrated and cherished.

My dear brothers and sisters, let us never lose sight of the incredible love that Jesus has for us. It is an unbreakable bond that cannot be shaken by anything in this world. May we continue to live in the resurrection love of Jesus, and may it overflow from our hearts to touch the lives of those around us.

With love and prayers for each one of you,
Michelle
